Difficulty
An intermediate tour in dry conditions. Monferrato is famous for its mud, so rain makes the riding considerably harder.

Bike requirements
- Any offroad-capable bike welcome, including heavy adventure bikes
- Minimum 50/50 tyres (at least half knobby) — street-biased tyres won't cut it
- Puncture repair kit required — tubes with tools, or a tubeless repair kit plus air compressor or pump
- Bike must be mechanically inspected before departure
